Beijing Sunshine IP and Legal Development Foundation (¡°SSIP¡±) was established in Beijing in February 2010 as a private foundation and a charitable organization certified by the Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau. Its purpose is to revitalize the country through science and education, to help the poors and the weaks and to promote the development of IP and the law. Its business scope includes: supporting public welfare activities that contribute to the development of IP and the law, such as teaching and research, personnel training, exchange and cooperation and establishment of scholarships.
In order to show its care for IPer¡¯s study, research, life, health and other aspects, and to fulfil its goal of ¡°revitalizing the country through science and education, helping the poors and the weaks and promoting the development of IP and the law,¡± SSIP and the the magazine of China Intellectual Property jointly launch the initiative of ¡°Sunshine IPers Project¡± to ¡°promote the sustainable development of IPers¡¯s study and career,¡± according to the Charity Law of the People¡¯s Republic of China and other rules and regulations, and Articles of Association of SSIP. The recipient of this project would be professionals in the IP industry, and recipients with severe diseases would be given priority to get a certain amount of financial support for medical assistance. SSIP establishes a special fund for each recipient under this project, and will manage the use of funds for each recipient.

II. Qualified Recipients
The recipients of this project will be professionals in the IP industry, and recipients with severe diseases will be given priority to get a certain amount of financial support for medical assistance.
III. Use of the Project Funds
A. Donations
1. As a recipient, SSIP signed donation agreements with each donor, and agreed on the amount and purpose of the donation.
2. If there is no special agreement, SSIP will put all the donation to the "Sunshine IPers" project. After the establishment of a special fund for the recipient, the funds will be allocated among the special funds.
3. If the donor clearly indicates in the donation agreement that the donation should be used for a specific fund under the ¡°Sunshine IPers¡± project, the donor's donation will be included in the specific fund according to the will of the donor. However, provided that the purpose of the donation has been realized, or cannot be realized due to the following reasons, including but not limited to the impossibility to realize the funding agreement or the termination of the donation agreement, then the donation to the specific fund will go to the ¡°Sunshine IPer¡± project automatically and will be allocated amongst different specific funds.
B. Use of Donations by Receipients
1. As a sponsor, SSIP will sign a funding agreement with each recipient to set up a specific fund for each recipient under this project, and to manage the use of funds for each recipient.
2. The specific fund shall only be used to cover the necessary treatment expenses of the recipients which cannot be reimbursed through the social insurance system or other commercial insurance system during the period of receiving treatment.
3. The payment will be directly given to formal medical institutions that provide medical services to the recipients only.
C. Management of the Donations
If the amount raised in this project is less than RMB 1,000,000, the SSIP shall not charge any administrative fee for the purpose of public interest. When the amount raised in this project is more than RMB 1,000,000, SSIP shall charge a management fee no more than 8% of total amount of donations for the purposes of management. SSIP will timely disclose the financial situation according the rules and regulations by Beijing Civil Affairs Bureau. SSIP welcome the supervision from donors, recipients and the whole society.
D. Information disclosure
SSIP may, with the permission of the donors and recipients, disclose the following information to the public, and duely advertise this project:
1. The donors¡¯ names and other basic information, the amount of donations;
2. The name of the recipients or other basic information, the amount of donations received by the recipients;
3. The expense and balance of the funds of this project;
4. Other information that SSIP considers it necessary to be disclosed about this project.
If there is any of the above information that any donor or recipient wishes not to be disclosed, the donor or recipient is required to make it explicit in writing or orally to the SSIP. The SSIP may decide whether to disclose the information in accordance with Measures on Information Disclosure by Charities and other rules and regulations, as well as SSIP Rules on Information Disclosure and other related rules of the SSIP.
