Forecast | 2021 Voice Explorer Conference and Beijing Broadcasting Festival Audio Copyright Forum

On June 1, 2021, the new copyright law was officially implemented. In this context, in order to understand the new era of copyright and explore new developments in the industry, the “2021 Voice Explorer Conference and Beijing Broadcasting Festival Audio Copyright Forum” will be held in Beijing from 9:00 to 12:00 on October 14th.



The forum is hosted by Beijing Radio and Television Station. Co-sponsors include the School of Intellectual Property of Renmin University of China, the School of Intellectual Property of Peking University, Capital Copyright Association, Beijing Sunshine Intellectual Property and Legal Development Foundation, and China Intellectual Property Magazine.

The forum will invite industry authoritative experts, well-known scholars, senior judges, radio stations and business platform representatives, etc., to jointly focus on hot issues such as the legal status of audio works, the protection of live broadcast streams, and the audio copyright system, and discuss how to promote the healthy development of the audio work industry by enhancing the IP protection system.

At that time, the forum will also publish a proposal for “Protecting the Copyright of Sound Works”.
