Recently, the project of “Infant Behavioral Neurodevelopment” of Medlinker internet hospital is officially established by Infant Development Committee of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development, Medlinker, Bao Xiulan Early Childhood Development Optimization Center and the Early Prevention and Development of Children Charity Foundation “Bao Xiulan Sunshine Children” together, which is under the guidance of the expert team of Bao Xiulan, the leading authority in the area of early intervention of high-risk infants in China. This project aims to provide professional training and medical support for the management team of high-risk infants, optimize the short-term and long-term results of neurodevelopment for high-risk infants and improve the growth in the best way.
The launching ceremony of the discipline construction of “Infant Behavioral Neurodevelopment” is held in Beijing on February 5, 2021. Liu Weimin, the co-founder of Bao Xiulan Health Technology and chief medical officer, Su Yang, the vice president of Medlinker, Prof. Bao Xiulan, the chief professor of Bao XiuLan Health Technology and founder of Beijing Bao Xiulan Early Childhood Development Optimization Center, Liu Xingcai, the manager of pediatrics in Medlinker, Sun Shuying, the director of Infant Development Committee of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development and Liu Shaojun, the vice secretary-general of SSIP attend the ceremony. They respectively make speech on the contents of cooperation, the expectation for the discipline construction, the establishment of discipline construction on the Internet and suggestion for the discipline construction at the level of association.
Su Yang attaches influential social meaning to the construction of the project of “Infants Behavioral Neurodevelopment”. He claims that this project does not only enrich the development of this discipline in China, but also provides scientific guarantee for the health of young generation. Medlinker promises to make full use of advantages on the area of Internet chronic disease management to advance the discipline of “Infants Behavioral Neurodevelopment” to the top standard together with experts and professional organizations. Liu Weimin also points out that Infants Behavioral Neurodevelopment is an evaluation technique for the assessment on neonatal neurobehavior and neurobehavior for babies with 0-1 year, which combines many disciplines like Brain Science with abundant practical and research work. The establishment of this specialty has been beneficial to thousands of families and patients. The center has been outstanding in the area of early evaluation, intervention and rehabilitation for high-risk infants in China for many years. In the ceremony, Bao Xiulan, the founder of the center and master for early intervention for children, highly appreciates the cooperation with Medlinker on the discipline construction. She says that this cooperation will definitely help apply the knowledge on early intervention to the society by improving skills of the medical staff and preschool workers on the area of early intervention and preschool education, which brings more hope for more families.
Sun Shuying delivers the decision of the Infant Development Committee of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development (hereafter “the committee”) to advance the establishment of the project of “Infants Behavioral Neurodevelopment”, cultivate talent echelon and carry out scientific research work. The experts of the committee are selected from various areas, including newborns, children's health care, rehabilitation, education, psychology, pediatric nerves. They aim to study the behavioral neurodevelopment of infants and toddlers systematically without the limitation of disciplines. Sun believes that it is necessary for the establishment of this subject in the future. Besides, the discipline construction founded by four parties is another meaningful cooperation between the committee and the expert team of Bao Xiulan on the basis of the previous cooperation in cultivation of talents for early intervention for infants. It is hoped that all the participants can spare no effort to improve the development of the career of early intervention for children jointly.
Liu Shaojun, the representative of SSIP puts forward the suggestion for the discipline construction at the level of foundation. She first introduces the background and the situation of the charity foundation of “Bao Xiulan Sunshine Children”. Then she delivers the hope for the foundation to cultivate more professional talents and help more children with the chance to cooperate with Medlinker. Sun believes that we can disseminate the research results of Prof. Bao Xiulan and make contribution to our 34 national policy to improving birth outcome and child development, with the support of the team of professional doctors in Bao Xiu Lan and the network of Medlinker.
“Bao Xiulan Sunshine Children” is a charity project founded by the Infant Development Committee of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development, SSIP and Bao Xiulan Health Technology (Beijing) Corporation in October 2020. The project aims to establish and optimize the “Theory and practice for early intervention and development for children” and the “Evaluation mechanism for early childhood development” with national independent intellectual property right by concluding Prof. Bao Xiulan’s advanced concepts and experiences in the area of the development of infants, especially the early intervention and development for children. Moreover, the project also tends to protect Prof. Bao Xiulan’s valuable intellectual property and help more children from home and abroad.
