Result of Paper Competition of the 8th National Intellectual Property Young Scholars

Intellectual Property Law Association of China Law Society (CLS) organized the activity of Call for paper for Intellectual Property Law Association annual conference 2020 and the Paper Competition of the 8th National Intellectual Property Young Scholars in November, 2020. The secretariat of the institute has received 169 papers, which include research results of intellectual property from many aspects. As for the paper evaluation, deputy secretary-generals pick out 30 papers from the entries in the first round. Then, vice presidents of the institute make the final review among these 30 papers.

According to the result, scholars Li An and Bai Jinfan win the first prize with their papers “Conflict and coordination between algorithm transparency and commercial secrets” and “ ‘New public standard’ for deep link infringement judgment:taking the video aggregation platform as an example”. They are respectively rewarded with 10,000 yuan. Eight scholars including Yang Zhengyu win the excellent award and gain 2000 yuan for reward respectively. The award money is supported by SSIP.

With the aim to invigorate China through the development of science and education and to help the poor and the weak, SSIP has been committed to cultivating talents in the field of intellectual property. In recent years, SSIP has given strong support to the annual conferences and paper competition of Intellectual Property Law Association of CLS and made great contribution to the development of intellectual property.
