Bao Xiulan Early Childhood Development Optimization Center, leaded by Prof. Bao Xiulan, a famous pediatrician, focuses on early diagnoses and intervention for 0-3 year-old high-risk children, developmental delay, cerebral palsy and autism, which is an authoritative institution integrating medicine, teaching and research. This institution is also a comprehensive health management agency for the early comprehensive development and early potential development of infants and children, which provides evaluation and guidance for healthy children’s early education and comprehensive development. Based on the concept of healthy development, the center aims to provide every child with a best beginning of life.
From July 7, 2021, the expert team of the center will organize five specialist clinics to begin national tour, including the following clinics:
● Height Development Clinic
Height Development Clinic organizes the heath management of growing children’s height and weight, nutrition management, sexual development management and prevention for the risk of child obesity. In order to stimulate children’s growth potential and eliminate the risk factors that affect growth and development, the clinic customizes the monitoring, managing and treatment plan according to children’s concrete situation.
● Clinic for Children with Feeding Difficulties
Clinic for Children with Feeding Difficulties provides evaluation, diagnoses and feeding guidance for infants, premature babies and high-risk infants with feeding difficulties, which include milk protein allergy, food intolerance, lactose intolerance and milk refusal.
● Language Cognitive Assessment Clinic
Language Cognitive Assessment Clinic can make evaluation and guidance for children who suffer from developmental delay in cognitive language, whose symptoms are shown like speaking late, poor understanding and poor language skills. Meanwhile, the clinic can customize personalized intervention programs to improve children’s development of cognitive language.
● Children's Mental Behavior Development Clinic
Children's Mental Behavior Development Clinic provides consultation and guidance for children who have deviant behavior and delinquenent conduct, such as autism, inattention and poor emotional control.
● Clinic for Seasonal Conditioning of Children’s Spleen and Stomach
Absorbing adequate nutrition is the basis for children to grow, which relies on the function of healthy spleen and stomach. Hence, this specialist clinic customizes personalized program to monitor, track and guide the children with weakness of spleen and stomach, which aims to promote these children’s growth and development effectively.
The first stop of the National Tour for Height Development Clinic is located in Beijing Bao Xiulan Clinic. Beijing Bao Xiulan Clinic will provide comprehensive health management for children’s height development and help them make full use of the prime time to develop their height in summer vacation, through combining online and off-line guidance.

“Bao Xiulan Sunshine Intelligence” Charity Project for Early Intervention and Development for Children
“Bao Xiulan Sunshine Intelligence” Charity Project for Early Intervention and Development for Children is established together by Beijing Intellectual Property and Legal Development Foundation (referred to as “SSIP”), the Infant Development Special Committee of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development (referred to as “The Special Committee”), and Bao Xiulan Health Technology (Beijing) Corporation (referred to as “Bao Xiulan Technology”) in September, 2020.
The Project aims to establish and optimize the “Theory and practice for early intervention and development for children” and the “Evaluation mechanism for early childhood development” with national independent intellectual property right by concluding Prof. Bao Xiulan’s advanced concepts and experiences in the area of the development of infants, especially the early intervention and development for children. Moreover, the project also tends to protect Prof. Bao Xiulan’s valuable intellectual property and help more children from home and abroad. With the aim of adequate protection of intellectual property and creators’rights, the project will encourage more medical workers at the field of early childhood intervention and rehabilitation to change the effective experience, regulation and methods into intellectual property, which will arouse the enthusiasm of the medical workers and related staff at the field of early intervention and development for children to achieve the goal of benefiting more families.
The Special Committee provides professional support for the project while SSIP is in charge of the fund management. The charity project, through cooperation with national authority on early childhood intervention and development, focuses on the following aspects:
1. Supporting the activities like early intervention, testing and evaluation, course training guidance and behavioral development tracking for the premature infants, high-risk infants, children with developmental delay, cerebral palsy and autism.
2. Funding the medical workers and relative practitioners from the underdeveloped and impoverished areas to participate in the evaluation, training, courses and communication activities on early childhood intervention and development.
3. Promoting the research, teaching and publicity of the system of early childhood intervention and development; improving the protection of intellectual property for the team of Bao Xiulan and medical education experts on the field of early childhood intervention and development.
4. Establishing the platform to achieve social support for early childhood intervention and development. The project combines the methods of online and offline, which helps provide effective communication between parents, hospitals and training institution, improve the level of digitalization on the early childhood intervention and development, and balance the differences between various districts with consistent evaluation and guidance standard.
