“Bao Xiulan Sunshine Intelligence” Charity Project for Early Intervention and Development for Children is established together by Beijing Intellectual Property and Legal Development Foundation (referred to as “SSIP”), the Infant Development Special Committee of Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development (referred to as “The Special Committee”), and Bao Xiulan Health Technology (Beijing) Corporation (referred to as “Bao Xiulan Technology”) recently.
The charity project aims to establish and optimize the “Theory and practice for early intervention and development for children” and the “Evaluation mechanism for early childhood development” with national independent intellectual property right by concluding Prof. Bao Xiulan's advanced concepts and experiences in the area of the development of infants, especially the early intervention and development for children. Moreover, the project also tends to protect Prof. Bao Xiulan's valuable intellectual property and help more children from home and abroad. With the aim of adequate protection of intellectual property and creators' rights, the project will encourage more medical workers at the field of early childhood intervention and rehabilitation to change the effective experience, regulation and methods into intellectual property, which will arouse the enthusiasm of the medical workers and related staff at the field of early intervention and development for children to achieve the goal of benefiting more families.
The Special Committee provides professional support for the project while SSIP is in charge of the fund management. Meanwhile, the charity project makes comprehensive cooperation with national authority on early childhood intervention and development. “Bao Xiulan Sunshine Intelligence” focuses on the following aspects:
1.Supporting the activities like early intervention, testing and evaluation, course training guidance and behavioral development tracking for the premature infants, high-risk infants, children with developmental delay, cerebral palsy and autism.
2.Funding the medical workers and relative practitioners from the underdeveloped and impoverished areas to participate in the evaluation, training, courses and communication activities on early childhood intervention and development.
3.Promoting the research, teaching and publicity of the system of early childhood intervention and development; improving the protection of intellectual property for the team of Bao Xiulan and medical education experts on the field of early childhood intervention and development.
4.Establishing the platform to achieve social support for early childhood intervention and development. The project combines the methods of online and offline, which helps provide effective communication between parents, hospitals and training institution, improve the level of digitalization on the early childhood intervention and development, and balance the differences between various districts with consistent evaluation and guidance standard.
On the topic of “Scientific Fertility, Strengthen Nation”, The Conference of Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development and 5th Forum of Maternal Child Industry opened in Changsha, Hunan province on October 17. More than three thousand people attended the conference, including leaders and experts from national departments, leaders of Health Commission from all provinces and districts, deans and experts of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitals and Maternal and Child Health Care Hospitals, leaders of general hospitals, directors of reproductive, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and other departments, directors of confinement and obstetrics services and representatives of famous maternal and child manufacturers.
During the conference, Liu Weimin, the e*ecut*ve director of the Special Committee, launched the “Bao Xiulan Sunshine Intelligence” Charity Project for Early Intervention and Development for Children.
SSIP is a non-public offering foundation established in Beijing in December 2010. Its aim is to invigorate China through the development of science and education, to help the poor and the weak, and to promote the development of IP and law. The scope of SSIP's business includes: funding teaching and research, talents training, communication and cooperation in the field of IP and law, providing scholarship, and holding other activities of public interest that are beneficial for the development of IP.
The Special Committee is set by Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development. As a national, industrial and non-profit social organization, Chinese Association for Improving Birth Outcome and Child Development, leaded by Former National Ministry of Health and General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army, was established on April 25, 1989 together by eight departments, namely Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, China Family Planning Committee, Education Ministry, All-China Federation of Trade Unions, the Central Committee of Communist Youth League of China, All-China Women's Federation, China Disabled Persons' Federation and the people's Government of Beijing City.
Bao Xiulan Technology, leaded by Prof. Bao Xiulan, a famous pediatrician, focuses on early intervention for premature infants, high-risk children, children with developmental delay, cerebral palsy and autism, which is an authoritative institution integrating science, teaching and research. This institution is also a comprehensive health management agency for the early comprehensive development and early potential development of infants and children, which provides evaluation and guidance for healthy children's early education and comprehensive development.
