The 7th “Forum on Innovative China and Intellectual Property Protection: Protecting Intellectual Property and Promoting Economic Development” is planned to be held in Lecture Hall 601 of Mingde Law Buiding in Renmin University of China on October 19, which is supported by SSIP and co-hosted by Intellectual Property Law Association of CLS, The Supreme People’s Court Intellectual Property Judicial Protection Theory Research Base (Renmin University of China), Law School of Renmin University of China and International Intellectual Property Research Center of Renmin University of China. In the forum, experts from judicial, administrative, academic, industrial and legal circles will discuss the issues such as the protection of artificial intelligence and patent right, Intellectual Property punitive damages and system of appearance design patent.
“Forum on Innovative China and Intellectual Property Protection” aims to discuss the protection of Intellectual Property and the issues as well as measures on the implementation of innovation-driven development strategy of China. The Forum has exerted positive affect in the perfection of the rule of law of Intellectual Property in China both theoretically and practically as it has been held for six consecutive sessions.
