The theme of the World Intellectual Property Day this year is “Fighting for the Gold Medal: Intellectual Property and Sports”. Under this environment, China Intellectual Property and Sports Summit Forum will be held in Shanghai on May 13. Decision makers of sports and intellectual property, industry practitioners on sports, scholars on sports and law will take part in the Forum and discuss issues like the promotion of professional sports to the economic and social development, the importance of intellectual property on the development of sports industry and the challenge of intellectual property that sports industry faces. SSIP provides support for the activity.
